Product Description:

The PTFE sheet is also known as tetrafluoroethylene sheet, teflon sheet, which is divided into two types: molded sheet and skived sheet. The PTFE molded sheet is made of PTFE resin by molding at room temperature, followed by sintering and cooling. The PTFE skived sheet is made of PTFE resin by pressing, sintering, and rotary cutting.

PTFE sheets have excellent physical properties:

1. The temperature resistance range is very wide -from - 180 Deg.C to+250 Deg.C.

2. Basically, it is resistant to all chemicals, except for some fluorides and alkaline metal liquids.

3. Excellent mechanical properties including anti-aging, especially for bending and swing applications.

4. Outstanding flame retardancy -in accordance with ASTM-D635 and D470 test procedures, designated as a flame retardant material in air.

5. Excellent insulation characteristics regardless of frequency and temperature

6. Extremely low water absorption, and has a series of unique properties such as self-lubrication and non adhesion.

Application

PTFE sheet are mainly used for corrosion and high temperature resistant sealing components in the mechanical industry, such as fillers, gaskets, expansion rings, valve seats, valve boxes, valve plates, anti-corrosion linings, diaphragms, containers, bearings, sealing rings, etc. PTFE sheets are widely used as high and low temperature resistant, corrosion resistant materials, insulating materials, anti adhesive coatings, and other materials in atomic energy, aerospace, electronics, electrical, chemical, mechanical, instrumentation, construction, textile, food, and other industries.
