Viton Rubber Cloth

Fluoroelastomer cloth is also known as fluoro rubber cloth, viton rubber cloth and FKM cloth for short. Viton is a fluororubber brand of DuPont, which has been widely referred to as fluororubber. FKM cloth is a kind of flexible material made by calendering fluororubber, fiberglass, nylon and other fabrics. FKM cloth has all the excellent properties of fluororubber, such as solvent resistance, high temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and aging resistance. The reinforced fabric layer can significantly improve the tensile strength and tear resistance of FKM cloth.

FKM cloth has excellent corrosion resistance. Its stability against concentrated acids such as nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, high concentration hydrogen peroxide, and other strong oxidants is superior to other types of rubber.

FKM cloth has strong swelling resistance It has good oil resistance to organic liquids such as fuel oil, solvents, hydraulic media, and other organic liquids

FKM cloth has strong high temperature resistance and anti-aging performance: in terms of high temperature resistance, fluoro rubber can be comparable to silicone rubber, superior to other rubbers. The fluororubber composite glass fiber reinforced layer can work for a long time at 250 Deg.C and for a short time at 300 Deg.C. In addition, FKM cloth has excellent weather aging resistance and ozone resistance.

FKM cloth is commonly used for punching various high-temperature and chemical resistant sealing gaskets, or being processed into various high-temperature and chemical resistant container linings, such as tank sealing gaskets, reactor linings, protective clothing linings, etc., and is also widely used in the aerospace field.
