Description:
Graphite composite gasket is also called reinforced graphite gasket or
high-strength graphite gasket. It is usually stamped or cut from reinforced
graphite sheet by specialized gasket cutting equipment. The commonly used inner
layer reinforcement materials for reinforced graphite gaskets are ss304, ss316
or tinplate, etc., with a thickness of 0.05~0.2mm, in the form of sprint plate
reinforced composite gaskets, stencil reinforced composite gaskets, and flat
plate reinforced composite gaskets. Graphite composite gaskets can be made into
a variety of circular and geometrically complex gaskets, such as water level
gauge gaskets, cylinder gaskets, exhaust pipe gaskets, heat exchanger gaskets
with ribs, etc.
Reinforced graphite composite gaskets can be made into graphite composite gaskets with stainless steel edge:
1. Basic graphite composite gasket
2. Add metal graphite composite gasket on the inner edge
3. Add metal graphite composite gasket on the outer edge
4. Additional metal graphite composite gaskets on the inner and outer edges.
The commonly used additional edge material for graphite composite gaskets is 304 or 316L stainless steel.
Features:
It has good corrosion resistance, high/low temperature resistance, radiation resistance, good compression resilience, and high strength, and the required pre-tightening force is smaller than that of metal gaskets and metal wound gaskets, and the requirements on the flange surface Not high, it is a more economical and practical gasket. If the hemming form is used, the excellent properties of the original graphite composite gasket can be maintained, it is easy to install and disassemble, and it is not easy to be damaged. At the same time, it can also prevent the erosion of the gasket by oxygen in the medium and the outside air, and improve the temperature and pressure resistance.
Application:
Used in the flange surface sealing of pipeline, valve, pump, pressure containers, heat exchanger, and reaction cauldron, etc. The film sticking PTEE can be used in food, pure water, and pharmacy sections.
