Dust Free Asbestos Tape

Asbestos tape is a tape heat insulation and sealing material woven with asbestos thread. There are two types of preparation for asbestos wire: dry method and wet method. The asbestos tape prepared by dry method is usually called dusted asbestos tape due to its surface containing asbestos dust, while the asbestos tape prepared by wet method is called dust-free asbestos tape. Therefore, asbestos tape can be divided into two types: dusted asbestos tape and dust free asbestos tape.

Compared with dusted asbestos tape, dust free asbestos tape is less dust pollution in production,shipping and application. And the price is cheaper than dusted asbestos tape.

Dust free asbestos tape can be improved in terms of mechanical and electrical properties by adding glass fiber, copper wire, or stainless steel wire.

Dust free asbestos tape composite with aluminum foil can enhance its insulation performance.
