General Purpose Silicone Rubber Sheet

Silicone rubber sheet is a widely used material with high resistance to temperature. The chemical composition and physical structure of silicone rubber determine that it has many characteristics that other similar materials are difficult to replace:
1. Silicone rubber sheets have good low-temperature resistance and can generally work at - 55 ℃. After the introduction of phenyl, it can reach - 73 ℃, therefore, silicone rubber sheet is a very rare low-temperature flexible material.
2. Silicone rubber sheets also have outstanding heat resistance. It can work for a long time at 180 ℃, and can withstand several weeks or longer at temperatures slightly higher than 220 ℃. It still has elasticity, and can withstand temperatures above 300 ℃ instantaneously. Therefore, in the application scenario of flexible materials requiring high temperature resistance, silicone rubber sheet is essential.
3. Silicone rubber has good air permeability, and its oxygen permeability is the highest among synthetic polymers. It can usually be made into foam sheets.
4. Silicone rubber sheet are insoluble in water and any solvent, non-toxic and odorless, and have outstanding characteristics such as physiological inertia and non coagulation, making them widely used in the medical field.

5. Silicone rubber sheet has stable chemical properties and does not react with any substance except strong alkali and hydrofluoric acid.
