SC Skeleton Oil Seal

Description:

The SC is a low-pressure single lip radial oil seal with a garter spring.  composed of a single metal cage with a rubber coating and a primary sealing lip with integrated spring. The rubber covered OD improves the OD sealing ability. the combined inner shell is designed to enhance the rigidity of the oil seal. It is especially suitable for larger sizes of oil seals with a back fit for sealing. The internal face of the steel case is not fully rubber covered. This seal is not recommended for use in a polluted environment as it contains no exclusionary sealing lip. To maximize performance over the lifetime of the seal an adequate lubricant should be applied under the sealing lip. SC profile is interchangeable with shaft seals A, G, A10, HMS4, WA, 92, 827N, DG, 35, IE, R21, BA, CB, ST, TG and AD.
