PTFE graphite packing sleeves are made from modified PTFE, they usually do not need steel eyelets. Fitting around to spindle to ensure its smooth action and prevent leakage. The effective sealing properties of PTFE, combined with the ease with which it can be removed and replaced ensure PTFE is the material of choice. So many brands of AB cocks used PTFE Packing sleeves.

A popular application of PTFE sleeve is to seal the drain cocks for level gauges (see. fig. below). The size of the sleeve must be exactly matched to the size of the valve (cock). The specifications and standards are as follows.
